Optional visitor statistics

If you choose “Accept analytics”, Google Analytics helps us understand which pages people visit, how they find the website and how it is used. Google processes information such as browser and device details, approximate location and cookie identifiers. We use these statistics to improve the website.

The Google Analytics tag does not load until you accept. Declining does not prevent you from using any page. Advertising signals and advertising personalisation are disabled in this website’s tag configuration. We do not intentionally send names, email addresses or message text to Analytics.

Your choice

Your accept or decline choice is remembered in this browser for up to six months using local storage. Analytics cookies, including _ga and _ga_TPLTMXRJF9, are configured to expire after 180 days. You can change your choice using “Cookie settings” in the footer. Declining after accepting stops future collection and removes these cookies on this domain; it does not erase information already collected by Google.

Google may process information on servers outside the UK. Read Google’s Privacy Policy and how Google uses information from sites that use its services.

Messages to Bethany

The contact form sends your name, email address, subject and message through FormSubmit to Bethany so she can respond. Please do not include sensitive information or children’s personal details. The optional updates checkbox records interest; it does not enrol you in a mailing list. See FormSubmit’s privacy policy.

The site is hosted on GitHub Pages. Hosting and form providers may process technical information needed to deliver and protect their services. See GitHub’s privacy statement.
