Meet Bethany
I'm Bethany Simon, the creator of Bramblewood Books and author of Finn the Fox Who Was Afraid of the Dark, the first book in The Bramblewood Series.
Bramblewood began with a simple idea: to create gentle woodland stories that help children explore big feelings through kindness, curiosity and friendship.
Every story is set in the magical woodland of Bramblewood, where familiar characters, cosy adventures and quiet moments remind children that courage doesn't always roar — sometimes it begins with taking one small step into the unknown.
I live in West Sussex, where I'm often inspired by nature, peaceful countryside walks and the changing seasons. When I'm not writing, you'll usually find me exploring the outdoors or dreaming up new adventures for Finn, Pip, Harry, Olive and all the friends waiting to be discovered in Bramblewood.
